Opportunity Knocks! (OK!) in a program offered to Bona Vista’s persons served.

OK! is made up of two categories of programming, Work Skills and Job Readiness. Work Skills will meet at Bona Vista at the Crossing and Job Readiness will meet at Bona Vista’s WorkForce Diversity office on Buckeye Street in Kokomo.

Staff will work with persons served in a group setting to assist with retention of skills. This program will be billed under the Medicaid Waiver.

  • Work Skills – Persons served will complete production-oriented tasks to gain skills necessary for volunteer work or paid employment. Skills acquired will be based on individual goals.
  • Job Readiness – Persons served will participate in a curriculum developed to help individuals prepare for community employment. This curriculum will teach professionalism and interview skills, as well as transferable job skills.
